Now you can manually add patient records for you and your team to work on simultaneously, including multiple visits per patient. \ \ If you are using the **Instinct EMR** and granted API access, you can also link all patients from your EMR directly into Hachiko with the ability to send patient information back and forth between our app and Hachiko. ### Add a New Patient

### Click the patient Now you have entered the patient's record within Hachiko. You can expand and collapse all visits, or start a new visit all together. A few buttons get familiar with:
* **Copy Full Record** — copy, in plain text, the entire patient's record to paste into your EMR or a separate document * **Link to Instinct** — you can now link your Instinct EMR with Hachiko directly which allows you to pull and send back visits, all back to Instinct * **Export All** — export all clinical records for this patient from Hachiko into a templated PDF * **Choose Visits** — same function as above, but with visits only you select to export * **Share /** **Shared** — Share this patient with your team / Confirms shared status with your team

### Writing and Managing Clinical Records

In Hachiko, you can simply click titles of sections or add separate sections if they don't fit a template you like. You can use the HTML editor to **bold**, *italicize*, and underline, for easy formatting. In addition, you can use headings and bullet lists with quick access. The record save button pops up automatically at the bottom of the screen. *Your entire team can all edit the record at the same time without losing data. If one person is in the block, you can't edit it until they move away. This prevents saving issues and allows true collaboration.*

### Creating A New Visit

Under the patient's record, you can now click a **New Visit** and start typing or dictating away.
