<figure><img src="https://495673160-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FrNY8u91neTqVjRiadL9n%2Fuploads%2F3n2rwc66PZMhvN1oBdlV%2FScreenshot%202026-03-15%20at%202.55.47%E2%80%AFPM.png?alt=media&amp;token=7324a985-e081-415e-bd31-36f7a42a4de4" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Voice notes must be linked to a patient to be imported into the record. You can do this by clicking the <mark style="color:$primary;">**Share**</mark> button on any voice note to link it to a patient. Then, when in the patient record, you can import directly into any of the&#x20;

You can also click the voice notes bubble within the patient record and link a voice note as needed.

### Summaries

<figure><img src="https://495673160-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FrNY8u91neTqVjRiadL9n%2Fuploads%2FG10QA07DtgCiESRe8Sl3%2FScreenshot%202026-03-15%20at%202.57.34%E2%80%AFPM.png?alt=media&amp;token=55761a5b-9a3f-495a-870a-482989239a4b" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The same linking ability goes for any summary you have generated as well. This helps keep summaries organized by patient and gives your entire team access to the summaries and patient record (if you've shared it with your team). If you haven't generated a summary yet and want one directly linked to the patient, just click <mark style="color:$primary;">**Generate Summary.**</mark>

<figure><img src="https://495673160-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FrNY8u91neTqVjRiadL9n%2Fuploads%2FTqnE6G5JAY7LVzORdGKh%2FScreenshot%202026-03-15%20at%202.59.35%E2%80%AFPM.png?alt=media&amp;token=d52e8779-dd97-4b1f-ad9a-a8106ca47c72" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

This generates and links a summary directly to that patient, while saving it throughout the app. In addition, all of the features and summary types are available.

* <mark style="color:$primary;">**Standard Instruction**</mark> - the typical instructions set to your account
* <mark style="color:$primary;">**Custom instruction**</mark> - prompt further and make refinements to your needs
* <mark style="color:$primary;">**Summary type**</mark> - all 5 summary types available just like in the rest of the app
